Three Common Questions
Yes. A sample run is usually a single folded carton or a small bundle, and it is the normal way a job starts. From there, quantities can scale from a few hundred units for an e-commerce seller to full pallet runs for an export programme, and the board grade and dimensions stay the same as the approved sample.
Sample turnaround depends on the board grade and whether a die is needed for inserts. We will tell you an honest date when you send your dimensions, and we will say so if a deadline cannot be met in time for the sample to be useful. Simple carton samples move quickly because they are folded and checked at the bench.
Yes. One and two colour flexo print covers brand marks, handling symbols, batch codes and barcodes, and nothing runs until a proof is signed at the bench. We check symbol size, quiet zone and contrast so the code scans first time on a busy packing line.
